WWE Monday Night RAW Review From Chicago 12/26/11

[Editor's Note: No Smackdown Review, Keg Stand, or Random Wrestling Review this week. I'm using the holiday weekend as an excuse. I might not bring back my Smackdown Review. Remember that this site becomes Wrestling Pipe Bombs tomorrow. Save this link: www.wrestlingpipebombs.blogspot.com]

I was at RAW last Monday in Chicago. It was a good show and I took many photos (over 150). I would like to share some of my thoughts and show you several exclusive photos.

The Keg Stand: Top 15 WWE Moments in Chicago

WWE Monday Night RAW is in Chicago this Monday. Chicago is a great WWE city and many great moments have happened in Chicago. I decided to make a list of the top 15 WWE Chicago moments.

Random Chicago Wrestling Match Review (December 24, 2011)

This week, I am doing a review of a random Chicago wrestling match because this is Chicago Week and RAW is in Chicago this Monday. I have some WCW and ECW matches that were in Chicago but the match I will review this week will be a WWE match. I created a list of 33 Chicago matches. Normally, I pick a match a few days early so I can prepare for it but I know these matches so well that I waited until today to pick my random number. Right now, I have no idea which match I will review. I'm hoping for CM Punk vs. Umaga from Judgment Day 2009. That was an underrated CM Punk match. Okay...the number I randomly selected was 9. I have no idea what match that is. The Chicago match I will review is...

WWE Smackdown Results (December 23, 2011)

WWE Friday Night Smackdown was at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia.

Great WWE Chicago Moments: CM Punk Wins the Intercontinental Championship

Believe it or not, CM Punk's WWE Championship win at Money in the Bank this year was not the first time Punk won a WWE title in Chicago. On January 19, 2009, CM Punk became the Intercontinental Champion in Chicago on Monday Night RAW. Before I go any further, I want to mention that I don't think it is a coincidence that RAW is in Chicago on the day after Christmas this year. Chicago was announced at the host for this Monday's RAW on July 17 which was supposed to be CM Punk's last day in the WWE. There are no WWE shows advertised for the rest of this week after Tuesday's Smackdown taping. CM Punk has probably been in Chicago since Wednesday. If RAW was in Cleveland this Monday, Punk would have to leave Chicago early Monday morning to get to Cleveland on time. However, RAW is in Chicago this Monday so Punk can spend more time with his family. I don't think CM Punk requested that the post-Christmas RAW be in Chicago but maybe Vince made the decision to have RAW in Chicago to make it more likely that CM Punk would re-sign with the WWE.

Sorry to get off-topic...back to CM Punk's IC title win. Punk defeated William Regal and he got to celebrate with his hometown fans. Less than three years later, Punk won another championship in Chicago. Many WWE Superstars never win a WWE championship in their hometown. CM Punk has done it twice.

I also want to mention that this match features my favorite CM Punk entrance. When Punk's music started playing, Punk entered with the Chicago Flag. I remember marking out when I saw that.

Great WWE Chicago Moments: Bob Barker Hosts RAW

The WWE had several RAW guest hosts from the summer of 2009 to the end of 2010. One of those guest hosts was Bob Barker. On September 7, 2009, Bob hosted the Price is RAW in Chicago. I was in the arena that night and Bob was amazing. His mic skills at 85 years old were better than most of the WWE roster. Bob did so well that on December 14, 2009, he won a WWE Slammy for Best RAW Guest Host.

Great WWE Chicago Moments: Randy Orton Becomes the WWE Champion Twice in One Night

The WWE No Mercy Pay Per View in Chicago on October 7, 2007 was one of the most unique WWE PPVs of all-time. Triple H competed in three WWE Championship matches. Randy Orton entered the PPV without any WWE Championship reigns in his career and at the end of the night, he was a two-time WWE Champion. The interesting thing is that none of this would have happened if John Cena didn't get injured. Cena tore his right pectoral muscle during RAW on October 1 and was forced to vacate his WWE Championship. Randy Orton was awarded the WWE Championship at the start of the PPV, lost it to Triple H in the opening match, and won back the title by defeating Triple H in the main event. I think Randy Orton is the only man to win the WWE Championship twice in one night and that historic feat happened in Chicago.

Great WWE Chicago Moments: CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho on RAW

On August 18, 2008, Chris Jericho faced the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk in a non-title match on RAW in Chicago. It wasn't a classic match but I think it's awesome that CM Punk, who is from Chicago, had a match on RAW in Chicago as the World Heavyweight Champion against Chris Jericho. This was the only time CM Punk was in a WWE ring as the World Heavyweight Champion in Chicago. I remember watching this match on TV and being disappointed because Punk lost. I re-watched this match while writing this column and I think this match is as good as a mid-card Pay Per View match. It was nice to see CM Punk make his entrance in Chicago with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist.

Great WWE Chicago Moments: Daniel Bryan Wins the U.S. Championship

Daniel Bryan is now the World Heavyweight Champion but that is not his first championship in the WWE. On September 19, 2010, Daniel Bryan won the United States Championship at Night of Champions in Chicago by defeating The Miz. I was in the arena during that match and in my opinion, it was the best match of the night. The crowd reaction during the LeBell Lock submission hold and after The Miz tapped was amazing. Winning the World Heavyweight Championship is Daniel Bryan's biggest accomplishment in the WWE, but he will never forget when he became a champion in the WWE for the first time and that happened in Chicago.

Vintage Column- Cena Sucks: The History of John Cena and Chicago

[Welcome to Chicago Week. There is now only one WWE RAW show left in 2011 and it is in Chicago this Monday. Chicago is my city and to get you excited about RAW, I am devoting an entire week to Chicago-related blog posts. I am planning to do a daily column this week called Great WWE Chicago Moments. I will do a Top 15 WWE moments in Chicago column this weekend so the Great WWE Chicago Moments columns will feature some of the honorable mentions. I am planning on doing four of them and there should be one for every day before Christmas. That starts tomorrow.  Today, I am posting a column that first appeared on THE INFAMOUS JCITY. I have never posted it here and this is a good time to post it. This vintage column will have an updated ending.]

The Keg Stand: Can Kevin Nash and Triple H have a good match at TLC

Welcome to another edition of The Keg Stand. I am posting this Keg Stand a few days early because I had an opportunity to get it finished today and this will give me more time to work on my other columns this weekend. I was surprised to find out that this is my 10th Keg Stand. I'm glad that the WWE continues to give me something worth discussing each week. This week, I decided to use my original format which was discussing five current topics in the WWE. One of those topics is the upcoming match between Triple H and Kevin Nash.

This blog will be renamed to "Wrestling Pipe Bombs" in 2012

"It's funny to me that Vince is bending over backward to give me everything I've ever wanted, when all I've ever wanted is this little microphone. See, this, this is power. This voice...this is power. In anybody else's hands, this is a microphone. In my hands, it's a pipe bomb."-CM Punk on WWE Monday Night RAW (July 11, 2011)

I had a really hard time thinking of a new name for my blog but I finally thought of a decent name. In 2012, this blog will be known as Wrestling Pipe Bombs. I thought it would be cool if I could think of a blog name with a CM Punk reference so I like this name. CM Punk's "pipe bomb" is his microphone and he uses that pipe bomb to express his opinions about the WWE. My "pipe bomb" is my computer keyboard and my opinions aren't as strong as Punk but I do have strong opinions about the WWE. I'm not afraid to criticize them. It's not a perfect comparison and it's probably not the best blog name but it's good enough.

The new web address will be www.wrestlingpipebombs.blogspot.com (I already claimed the name) and I plan on making the change on January 1, 2012. Consider this post to be your two week's notice. The only change I'm making is the web address and the blog name. That's it. It will be the same location with the same design.

Here's what to expect on this blog later this week (subject to change):

Friday- WWE Smackdown Review
Saturday- Random Wrestling Match Review
Sunday- The Keg Stand: Can Kevin Nash and Triple H have a good match at TLC

Random Wrestling Match Review (December 10, 2011)

Welcome to my first Random Wrestling Match Review. I have 379 WWE/WCW/ECW matches on DVD. I know that because I made a list and numbered all of the matches individually. All of the matches I will review for this column will be a match I own on DVD. I don't want to be biased and pick matches based on my wrestling style so I decided to randomly pick a number using a random number generator and then review the match that is attached to that number. The number I randomly picked was 59. The match I will review is...

The Keg Stand: Five Things I Want to See on RAW Every Week

In my opinion, WWE Monday Night RAW (I don't care that it's called "RAW Supershow" now) has not been very enjoyable lately. I rarely watch the entire show without turning the channel and a lot of the main events are not worth watching live. I was thinking about what I want to see on RAW and I thought of five things that RAW needs to try to do every week.

WWE Smackdown Review (November 29, 2011)

Smackdown was LIVE on Tuesday night in Charlotte, North Carolina this week. After this week, I will no longer review Smackdown matches. I will still post a review every week with match photos and match ratings but there will be no match review. I might write a short review for the best match and worst match. Next week, I will begin a new weekly column in which I will review a random WWE/WCW/ECW match from my DVD collection.

Blog Update: 2,500 Views in November

Today is the first day of December and November is over. According to Blogger, this blog had 2,500 views in November which is 551 more views than last month. According to StatCounter.com, I had 1,196 unique visitors (794 first time visitors and 402 returning visitors) in November. These are all increases from last month so it means this blog is still growing. I'm glad to see that this blog has not peaked yet and thanks to everyone who has visited this blog.

I plan to re-name this blog in early 2012. When I change the blog name, I will also change the web address so I will announce the name change several weeks in advance before I make the change. If anyone has any suggestions for a new blog name, please leave them in the comments.

WWE Smackdown Review (November 25, 2011)

Smackdown was in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania this week. There were five matches not including Daniel Bryan's failed Money in the Bank cash-in on Mark Henry. The match started while Mark Henry was knocked out so Teddy Long rightfully threw out the match. Mark Henry is still the World Heavyweight Champion and Daniel Bryan gets to keep his Money in the Bank briefcase.

VIDEO: My New CM Punk T-Shirt!

When I first ordered my CM Punk shirt, it was originally estimated that I wouldn't receive my shirt until December. When the shirt was shipped, I found out that I was expected to receive it on November 28. But despite the Thanksgiving holiday, I received my shirt today which is at least two days early. Read more to see my official unboxing (or unbagging in this case).

The Keg Stand: The Recipe for a Classic WWE Match

[Writer's Note: This is my Keg Stand for this week. There will be no Keg Stand this weekend.]

Last Monday on RAW, CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler had an amazing match. I would have gave it four stars if I was reviewing RAW. It was a really good match but that match had no chance of being a 5-star classic match and I will explain why.

CM PUNK IS THE NEW WWE CHAMPION!!!

Congratulations to CM Punk for beating Alberto Del Rio tonight at WWE Survivor Series and becoming the WWE Champion. Punk is now a two-time WWE Champion and a five-time World Champion. I would like to see him as the WWE Champion when the WWE returns to Chicago on December 26.

WWE Survivor Series Preview

WWE Survivor Series is in New York City tonight. It should be a great show. I think the NYC crowd is a little bit overrated but I am curious to see how they react to the Pay-Per-View.

The Keg Stand: CM Punk is Now Officially My Favorite WWE Superstar

For most of 2011, CM Punk has been my favorite WWE Superstar. I have always been a CM Punk fan because he's from Chicago like me. Punk was very entertaining in the beginning of this year and his epic feud with John Cena leading up to Money in the Bank definitely made CM Punk my undisputed favorite WWE Superstar. However, just saying that CM Punk is my favorite Superstar is not enough. I don't own anything with CM Punk's name on it. When you have a favorite sports player, the best way to make it official is by getting his jersey. So to make it official that CM Punk is my favorite WWE Superstar, I purchased something today on WWEShop.com that I have not owned since the Attitude Era. I purchased a WWE T-Shirt.

WWE Smackdown Review (November 18, 2011)

WWE Smackdown was in Hershey, Pennsylvania this week. Hershey is only 100 miles from Penn State...is it too soon to make a Penn State joke? I'm going say yes and I will not be making any jokes involving Hornswoggle.

CORRECTION: Smackdown was actually in Bridgeport, Connecticut this week. RAW is in Hershey, PA on Monday. I'm apologize for the error.

The Keg Stand: My Current Thoughts on RAW

I didn't feel like doing a "Keg Stand" this week but I also didn't want to skip a week so here's my "Keg Stand". Everyone has been asking me about how I currently feel about WWE Monday Night RAW. Okay that was a lie...no one has been asking me that but I am going to tell you my thoughts whether you want to read them or not.

Smackdown was in Liverpool, England this week. There were seven matches on Smackdown and I will review all of them.

The Keg Stand (November 5, 2011)

This weekend is going to be very busy for me. I want to give my opinion about this week's Smackdown and I also want to write my Keg Stand column. The problem is that I had a hard time thinking of five topics and I didn't watch half of Smackdown. So for this week, I will discuss two WWE topics and review three matches from Smackdown. I'm not gonna say "Never before...never again" but I don't plan on having The Keg Stand and my Smackdown Review be tag-team partners every week.

Mick Foley Has Officially Returned to the WWE

Mick Foley has finally returned to the WWE for the first time since the summer of 2008. It was reported almost two weeks ago that Mick Foley's WWE return would be on November 14 in Boston during a three-hour RAW. However, Foley's return came 12 days early. Foley appeared at a WWE house show in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday night (it's Wednesday night here in America but it's Thursday morning in Ireland right now so I can't say that the house show happened tonight because technically it was yesterday). Foley is no longer scheduled to appear at the Nov. 14 RAW according to WWE.com and the TD Garden website but I expect him to be re-added to the "scheduled to appear" list after appearing at Dublin's official WWE live event. I'm a big Mick Foley fan so this is news that I had post as soon as possible. I can't wait until he finally appears on WWE TV. I had a feeling that Foley would eventually return to the WWE but it's awesome to find out that he is now officially back in the WWE.

1,949 Views in October!

At the start of last month, I was hoping for this blog to get 1,500 views in October. Instead, I got almost 2,000 views! That is according to Blogger and I have requested that Blogger don't count my views so it's not like half of those views are from me. I had only 196 views during the whole month of July so 1,949 views in October is a HUGE number. I also got my StatCounter report today and it said I had 1,001 unique visits which means 1,001 different people visited the blog. So I know it's not just Ray, Alan, Capt. Smooth, Shaman's Harvest, and Chadam visiting hundreds of times. 258 out of the 1,001 unique viewers made return visits to the blog. This is great stuff. Every month my blog numbers continue to get better. Thank you for reading!

How I Would Book It- Mark Henry's World Heavyweight Championship Reign

As of right now, Mark Henry has been the World Heavyweight Champion for 40+ days. That's impressive but not impressive enough. Jack Swagger was the World Heavyweight Champion for 82 days. Kane was the World Heavyweight Champion for 154 days. Randy Orton held the World Heavyweight Championship for 110 days during two reigns this year. Mark Henry's reign needs to continue and I will explain how I would book the rest of Mark Henry's World Heavyweight Championship reign.

I'm back with another Keg Stand. I was able to find five topics I can rant and rave about this week.

WWE Smackdown Review (October 28, 2011)

Sorry that there wasn't a Smackdown Review last week. I was going to write it on Saturday but I was busy all day. I will write my "Keg Stand" column tomorrow and I might write a "How I Would Book It" column on Sunday. I plan to continue review Smackdown every week but I will only be reviewing the Smackdown matches. No promos will be reviewed which I don't think is bad because I think the matches are more important than the storylines on Smackdown. It looks like a good match card this week on Smackdown and as I write this, I have not yet seen any of the matches so I'm excited.

Top Five RAW Episodes Before the End of 2011

[Writer's Note: No Smackdown Review this week. I was too busy today.]

WWE Monday Night RAW has been hard to watch lately. Too many boring shows and not enough interesting shows. Also, I think the lack of quality main event matches on RAW is hurting a lot too. If the main event doesn't sound interesting, people are not going to watch the entire show. I'm sure many WWE fans have thought about skipping RAW once in awhile. However, there are at least five RAW episodes left in 2011 that should be interesting.

The Keg Stand: Mick Foley Will Return to the WWE in 2011

Last week, the first ever "Keg Stand" covered five topics. I plan on doing that every week but not this week. I could not think of five good topics to discuss. The only topic I could think of was the WWE having RAW in Mexico for the first time. I wasn't sure what I would do for this week's "The Keg Stand". Then this afternoon during lunch, I was looking at WWE news on the internet and I saw something very interesting...

WWE Smackdown Review (October 14, 2011)

For the second week in a row, I am only reviewing Smackdown matches. No promos or backstage segments. Once again, I will rate the matches using a five star scale. Here is an interpretation of that five star scale:

* is Poor
** is Fair
*** is Good
**** is Great
***** is Excellent

The Keg Stand (October 14, 2011)

Welcome to the first ever edition of "The Keg Stand". This column idea was given to me by JCITY over at The Infamous JCITY. He helped me write my fourth "What If" column and at the end of it, JCITY wrote, "I think a good column idea would be 'The Keg Stand' where you stand on your soapbox and rant and rave about whatever you want. In your case there will be no soapbox, just me holding you upside down as you chug away at the proverbial keg." He wrote that in June and now I have decided to attempt his column idea. In this column, I will rant and rave about current topics in the WWE. I'll pick five things that are happening or happened recently and I'll just give my thoughts about them.

WWE Smackdown Review (October 7, 2011)

Welcome to my Smackdown review. I might try to get a new introductory line because I'm getting tired of writing "welcome to my Smackdown review" every week. I'm feeling a little bit lazy this week but not lazy enough to not write a review. However, this review will only feature matches. This week, I will do something different with my match ratings. I will finally use star ratings using a five star scale.

Sin Cara: Mexico’s Power Rangers by Chadam

We all know that Sin Cara 1 and 2 are from Mexico. It’s also no secret that aliens have a rich history in and around Mexico. Sin Cara shares a color coded scheme similar to the Power Rangers.  It’s also common knowledge that The Power Rangers got their powers from a…wait for it…ALIEN. That’s a pretty weak string of evidence right? Not as weak as you might think.

WWE Smackdown Review (September 30, 2011)

Welcome to another Smackdown Review. This week I will try to keep my review short. This week’s Smackdown is in St. Louis, Missouri and is the last Smackdown before the Hell in a Cell Pay Per View.

WWE Hell in a Cell Predictions!

Unlike the last WWE Pay Per View, I will not be talking about how I would book Hell in a Cell which is this Sunday but I will offer my predictions to each match. As of right now, there are five official matches and a rumored sixth match for Hell in a Cell which will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana.

1,382 Views in September!

At the beginning of September, I said that my goal was to get over 1,000 views in September and the official monthly total was 1,382 views which easily makes September the most viewed month in the brief history of this blog. Thanks to everyone who visited my blog and I hope to have 1,500 views in October. By the way, I haven't watched Smackdown yet but I will and I will try to post my Smackdown Review before the end of the night. I am going to try to cut down the amount of words. Usually it is around 4,000 to 5,000 words. I will be aiming for about 2,000 to 2,500 words this week.

UPDATE: I just checked my email and I got an email from StatCounter who track site stats. Blogger tracks stats too but StatCounter has a lot more detailed stats. By the way, the 1,382 number came from Blogger. I used that number because StatCounter counts my views and I have requested that Blogger do not count my own page views. Anyway, I read the email and StatCounter said there were 866 unique views in September and 563 of them were first-time visitors. That means 866 different people visited my site so thanks to all of those 866 people. The two biggest days of the month were September 12th (the day after my first Smackdown Review) and September 25th (the day I published "John Cena Is A Robot" by Chadam which was the most popular column on my site that was written in September).

John Cena Is A Robot by Chadam

[Editor's Note: This is my first ever guest column. This was written by Chadam and I'm assuming he is the same Chadam who leaves comments at THE INFAMOUS JCITY. Chadam sent me an email with this column and I decided to use it.]

John Cena is a robot. I know, I know, some of you are thinking that this sounds like a fantasy story merged with a wrestling role-play game. But hear me out, I actually have some evidence to back me up. If anyone has the money to invest in robot wrestler technology, it’s Vince McMahon.

WWE Smackdown Review (September 23, 2011)

Welcome to another WWE Smackdown review. I will try to keep the review short this time. One thing I need to mention is that I will no longer mention best/worst spot for every match. If I notice some good or bad spots, I will mention them in my match reviews but if I don’t see any then I will simply not mention them. That was the only thing I needed to tell you before I start the Smackdown review.

Five WWE Superstars Who I Want to Get a Push

One of the biggest complaints of the WWE is that they don't push their mid-card division enough. I agree with that complaint. There are a lot of talented young Superstars in the WWE and there aren't getting pushed. A lot of them are rarely on TV. The WWE needs to push their younger stars. If they don't, then fans will continue to want WWE Legends like Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels, and The Rock to make more WWE appearances and they will continue to beg that old veterans like Undertaker, Kane, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, and Christian don't retire. The two current World Champions in the WWE, John Cena and Mark Henry, are a combined age of 74. That's an average age of 37 which is too old. The veterans will have to retire eventually so the WWE needs to build for the future. In this column, I will list the top five WWE Superstars who I want the WWE to give a push within the next 12 months.

Coming Soon: My List of The Five WWE Superstars Who I Want to Get Pushed

I'm currently working on a new column. It will be exactly what the above title says: my list of five WWE Superstars who I want to get pushed. You will see that list when the column is done. All five of them are young and all of them are mid-card WWE Superstars who currently are not wearing WWE gold around their waist. Some of them are on TV regularly and some are not. That's all I can say right now.

MARK HENRY IS THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

Congratulations to Mark Henry! Mark Henry won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Randy Orton at Night of Champions last night. Mark Henry has been with the WWE for 15 years and this is his first ever World Championship in the WWE. Now when Mark Henry retires, he can say that he was the World's Strongest Champion.

WWE Smackdown Review (September 16, 2011)

I’m back with another Smackdown review. Before I get started, I am making two changes to my review style. First of all, I am adding two new words to my match ratings. In addition to “very boring”, “boring”, “average”, “good”, “great”, and “amazing”, I will be using the words “very good” and “classic”. Last week, I said that the Orton vs. Rhodes match was “great”. It was better than “good” but it wasn’t a “great” match so if I could rate the match again, I would call it “very good”. As for my “classic” rating, that will be given to matches I think are one of the best of all-time so don’t expect me to use that word often. The “amazing” rating will now refer to matches that aren’t “classic” but could be a Match of the Year contender. The second change I will make is that I will be naming the best and worst spot of each match. Now it’s time to review Friday Night Smackdown!

How I Would Book It- WWE Night of Champions 2011

I promised I would do at least one “How I Would Book It” column each month so this month I am booking WWE Night of Champions which is this Sunday. Fun fact: I attended last year’s Night of Champions in Chicago. I think booking Pay-Per-Views is a cheap way to meet my once-a-month quota but this will have to do. Maybe next month or later this month, I’ll book a current or potential feud. As of right now, there are seven matches on the Night of Champions match card and I do not expect any more matches to be added. I will preview each match in the order I think they will happen during the PPV, I will give my predictions, and I will describe how I would book each match.

WWE Smackdown Review (September 9, 2011)

Welcome to my first ever WWE Smackdown review. I’m not sure if I will be reviewing Smackdown every week. After I review this week’s Smackdown, I will decide if I will continue to review them. One thing I need to mention before I start is that I will be rating each match. However, I won’t be using a star rating. I like the idea of rating matches using a five-star scale but it can be too confusing. What’s the difference between a *** match and a *** ¼ match? A wise man once wrote that a match is good, great, or boring. I like that idea so I will use those words to rate the matches. I will also use “average”, “very boring”, and “amazing”. “Average” will be for matches that aren’t boring but also aren’t good, “very boring” will be rarely used and only used for matches I think are among the worst matches I have ever seen, and “amazing” will only be used for matches I consider to be all-time classics so don’t expect many “amazing” ratings. This way I can accurately rate the matches without anyone arguing that I should have given a good match more stars or a bad match less stars. Also I like this because if I did star ratings, I would refuse to give any match less than two stars. All professional wrestlers are very talented and in my opinion giving a match one star or calling it a “DUD” is very insulting to the professional wrestlers especially if the writer has no professional wrestling experience.

Okay…it’s now time to start my Smackdown review!

My favorite WWE matches I have seen at WWE Live Events

I have been to six WWE live events in my life despite the fact that I didn't go to my first live event until May 2009. I have seen a lot of WWE matches in-person and many of them were really good. Although I expect to see many more WWE live matches in the future, I have decided to rank my favorite WWE matches I have seen in-person at live events. For this list, I have included every WWE match I have ever seen except for dark matches and house show matches. Basically, any match that was not televised is not on my list. I have seen about six dark matches and I went to a WWE house show that featured eight matches. Some of the non-televised matches were really good and one of them was a very good John Morrison vs. CM Punk match but the main reason why I'm not including those matches is because I don't remember them very well and I can't re-watch them if I wanted too. I have almost all of the other matches on DVD and the few that I don't have on DVD are matches I could find on YouTube.

New blog record for most views in a month!

I currently have over 1,550 views since I started this blog in late April 2011 and 857 of those views came from the month of August. Last month was a great month for my blog. Before August, the most views I had in a month was 261. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the 857 views in August. I don't count my own views so I am very proud of the 857 views I got. I will try to add more original articles to this blog as often as I can in September and my goal is to have 1,000 views this month.

Thanks for reading.
