WWE Payback 2014 Preview

WWE Payback is tonight. I will be inside the Allstate Arena. Here is a very quick preview of the Pay-Per-View.

Kickoff Show: Hornswoggle vs. El Torito (Hair vs. Mask)

Could be entertaining. Say goodbye to Hornswoggle's hair.

Winner: El Torito

Rusev vs. Big E

Both are athletic big men. How much offense will Big E get in? How many times will the camera show Lana?

Winner: Rusev

WWE United States Title Match: Sheamus (c) vs. Cesaro

Will there be a double turn? I'm excited about this match. Could be match of the night. Fans will be rooting for Cesaro over Sheamus.

Winner: Sheamus

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Rob Van Dam

Will Rob Van Dam win his 7th Intercontinental Championship or will Barrett have some bad news? Could be a good match if it gets 10 minutes. Look for Barrett to make a CM Punk joke.

Winner: Bad News Barrett

WWE Divas Title Match: Paige (c) vs. Alicia Fox

Could be Fox's most memorable match. Paige makes her WWE Chicago debut. I think both of them are going to try to outshine last Thursday's NXT Women's Championship match that was between Charlotte and Natalya.

Winner: Paige

Last Man Standing Match: Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena

Can Bray Wyatt defeat John Cena or will Cena end this feud by being the last man standing. I think this will be the best match of the trilogy.

Winner: John Cena

Daniel Bryan’s decision regarding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and Brie Bella

Will Daniel Bryan hand over his WWE World Heavyweight Championship? Will Brie Bella get fired? Will someone return and fight for the championship? This segment is hard to predict.

Prediction: Daniel Bryan keeps the championship

No Holds Barred Elimination Match: The Shield vs. Evolution

I can see this becoming a 3-on-1 match with Roman Reigns being the last member for The Shield. He puts up a great fight, but the numbers game is too much. Should be one of the best matches of the night.

Winners: Evolution

This probably won't be better than WrestleMania, but I think this will be a great show. It looks like there will be very few bad matches.

    2. At least there's "always Plan B".

  2. Really great show. The betting odds were moving like crazy in the Evolution vs Shield match to the point where both teams were both the favorite and the underdog during different times according to betwrestling.com

    1. Yeah it was a hard match to predict. I wanted to pick The Shield, but I thought it made sense for Evolution to win.
