RAW Comments (02/13/2012)

Monday Night RAW was live in San Diego, California this week. Here are my RAW Comments.

R-Truth was hilarious during the debate. I really don't care if R-Truth is face or heel. All I care is that he keeps his "crazy guy" gimmick because I think that gimmick is awesome. That gimmick has given him job security.

It's so good to see Chris Jericho wrestling on RAW. His match with Kofi Kingston was great and it's so good to see him on RAW every week (unlike my other WWE hero). Jericho truly is the best in the world at what he does.

It was great to hear the "You fucked up!" chant from the surprisingly smarky San Diego crowd when Big Show botched Randy Orton's RKO. Big Show doesn't have to worry about being future endeavored, but I think he now has no chance to win the Smackdown Elimation Chamber match. Nothing good ever happens after you make Randy Orton look bad.

The Shawn Michaels and Triple H segment was as good as expected. Any time Triple H and Shawn Michaels are cutting a promo in the same ring at the same time, good things happen. It's too bad Shawn Michaels can't be at every RAW.

There was another entertaining promo video for The Rock on RAW. The Rock's new DVD will be released next week. I don't plan to buy it right away but I think I might buy it before the end of this month. It is a must-buy DVD for me and I want to get the Blu-ray. I have been waiting for a WWE documentary on The Rock.

I'm starting to really enjoy the whole Cena/Eve/Ryder/Kane storyline. I wish the WWE would do stuff like this more often. Seeing Eve kiss John Cena reminded me of when I saw Kurt Angle kiss Stephanie McMahon on the Smackdown before SummerSlam 2000. Zack Ryder's reaction was great. I guess the best way to get me to like Zack Ryder is by having him feud with Cena. The massive heel heat Eve got was awesome. I love this storyline. The thing I enjoy the most about pro wrestling are the storylines. Without storylines, pro wrestling would not be entertaining. Storylines are so important that anyone who wants to be the WWE Champion needs to have good mic skills or else they will be in mid-card hell for their entire career (see Evan Bourne and Chris Masters). I love a good storyline more than a good match and this is a great storyline. More please.

    1. I love the whole male soap opera stuff. Some wrestling fans hate it but I LOVE it. I always viewed wrestling as more of a show than a sport. That South Park episode of the WWE is the kind of stuff I want to see every week.

  2. Yeah, I love the "show" aspect. And I agree about the soap opera part as well, but if Hornswoggle winds up being the "father" of Kharma's baby, it might be too much. lol

    1. Were you at work today? I thought you didn't visit my blog at work? I'm thinking of changing the blog name again...Not really liking the name. I want something less controversial. I'm targeting March 1, 2012 as the date I make the change so I'm hoping to think of a new name soon! I don't care what the name is...I just want it to be easy to remember and not controversial in anyway.
