How will the CM Punk vs. John Cena match end?

This Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank, CM Punk will face John Cena for the WWE Championship. There are several possible outcomes for this match so I did some internet researching and I found some possible outcomes that internet WWE fans thought of. All of these predictions I will include in this article were found on the internet. They will not include the name of the person but I am not trying to take credit for someone else’s prediction so I will say right now that NONE of these predictions came from me.  All I did was edit some of the predictions because not everyone used correct grammar.

Alright…here we go. I hope you enjoy the creative predictions from the Internet Wrestling Community:

  •         Have a face win the Raw MITB. Preferably Riley, but any would work, I guess. The MITB contract guarantees a title shot anytime, anywhere. So we have Punk beat Cena, he gets fired and takes time off. The PPV goes off the air with Punk walking out. On Raw the next night, we start the show with the MITB winner....but he has the title. He says he cashed in on Punk after the PPV and shows footage of it happening backstage or something. The new champion instantly gets a HUGE push as the "savior" of the title. So Punk wins, Cena is "fired" and off for a while, and a face gets a nice push. But once again, I'm not getting my hopes up for this match. I can only hope that WWE does something interesting with this storyline.

  •          I could see CM Punk having Cena beat, but the ref stops the count at 2 and won't continue. Then Triple H or Vince or the Rock, etc, interferes, the ref lets it go and then Cena gets the pin. I could also see CM Punk getting the win. When he tries to leave with the belt, he is surrounded by all the wrestlers and they destroy him.

  •          After an entertaining 15 minute match, Cena hits the final AA on Punk only for him to kick out! Suddenly Vince comes down to the ring with a chair and looks to help Cena take out punk so he doesn't leave with the title, but.... He turns around and hits Cena instead! Punk wins, Vince fires Cena! And now you have a Vince/Punk alliance - it was their plan all along to get rid of Cena!

  •          My favorite idea would have Punk take the title, Cena "fired" so he can take some time off. Have Vince work a deal to help Ring of Honor a bit like he helped ECW back in the day and allow the WWE title to be defended by Punk on the first TV taping for ROH in Chicago Ridge in mid-August. Hell, maybe even have him face Cena on that show, let the Indy fans crap all over Cena. It would be fun, however unlikely it may be.

  •          This happens to be a PPV with TWO money in the bank winners. Anybody could cash in before midnight and still get the belt off Punk before he leaves, therefore saving Cena's job, and rescuing the title from being removed from the company. The thing is, out of all the mitb participants, who is going to do such a thing? Mysterio makes perfect sense, as he's had his problems with Punk in the recent past as well. Del Rio or any other heel (fingers crossed for Truth) I suppose would do it just for the title. Point is, I have a strong feeling that neither Punk nor Cena are going to leave the champ.

  •          CM Punk vs. John Cena goes on for about a good 15 minutes. It's back and forth with many finisher kickouts and close pinfalls. Punk goes for the GTS, but then Cena counters it into the STF. Punk is in it for a few minutes, but he's right in the middle of the right. Punk taps out and the fans are living it, throwing trash and booing loudly. Punk then get's the mic after sitting in the ring for a few minutes while CM Punk chant's ran through the crowd. He gets the mic, says goodbye, this company won't be anything without me, and other things bashing the WWE. He then leaves with a sort-of standing ovation. Up next, the RAW MITB match. The first seven participants come out, then Rey Mysterio's music hits. RAW comes down, to only be viciously attacked by CM Punk! Punk beat's up Rey's leg then drops it on the steel steps. CM Punk then grabs a mic and says he's now in the MITB Ladder Match. After a big spot filled, crazy MITB match, with many people coming closer than ever before, Evan Bourne is going up the ladder. The fans are on their feet, it seems Bourne has the MITB briefcase, until CM Punk climbs up the ladder and kicks Bourne in the back of the head. CM Punk then grabs the briefcase and falls to the crowd. CM Punk now holds the MITB briefcase, and he then grabs a mic. He says "My contract's not up yet, I'm cashing this in right now on the WWE Championship, Cena let's go." Vince McMahon than comes out and proclaims that Cena already competed, Punk cheated to get him chance in the MITB ladder match, and he doesn't deserve to have another shot. Punk says he can have a title match whenever he wants, he wants it right now. Vince then says, "you know what Punk You’re...Fi...,” he pauses to see Cena walk past him with the WWE Championship with him and get in the ring. But, before the match begins, Vince says he won’t have some referee screw over this match, he'll be the special guest referee! Match is on, back and forth with moves and punches from both man. Cena goes for the AA, Punk counters into the Anaconda Vice. Cena gets to the rope, and Punk breaks the hold. Cena then gets back to his feet to fight Punk off, hit's his finishing stretch, and then he goes for the AA, Punk counters into the GTS, Cena counters again into the STF. Right in the middle of the ring, deja vu for the fans who start booing loudly. CM Punk is in the hold for a few minutes, then taps out. But, Vince doesn't call for the bell! Vince just stand's there as Cena gets up in disgust. Vince than low blow's Cena, only for Cena to turn right into a GTS. Vince counts Cena down 1..2..3! CM Punk is the new WWE Champion. Vince than embraces Punk as if this was seen to be the plot all along, to get rid of Cena. Cena is seen getting up in the corner, as Vince goes over to Cena's face, and yells You’re....Fired! Cena sits there as if in shock, as Punk holds up the WWE Championship to end the show.

  •          Punk has the upper hand over Cena, much to the hometown crowd's delight, until at the last minute Vince realizes that he is about to lose his biggest star and his company's championship and somehow intervenes to cost Punk the match. This could be in person or Montreal-style as it doesn't really matter as long as Vince is the bad guy again. Now this does have its positives; the show would probably close with Cena looking up the ramp at Vince looking annoyed because of his morals expressed on the last episode of Raw, setting up what would be an interesting feud between Cena and his boss. The only downside to this is realistically, how long could such a feud go on being believable? After Cena already threatened to walk out if he didn't get his match, and Vince already said he would have no problem firing Cena, it just wouldn't add up and would come across as contradictory on Vince's part.

  •          The Rock will interfere, rock bottom Punk, rock bottom Cena and give him the people's elbow for good measure. Punk crawls over to Cena and covers him, picking up the win and becoming the new WWE Champion. Vince will come out looking pissed at what’s happened and just as he's about to fire Cena, ADR's music hits. Del Rio cashes in MITB and walks out the new WWE Champion. Vince starts taunting Punk and gets a GTS to send the Chicago fans home happy.

  •          What I predict will happen at the PPV is CM Punk will win the WWE title clean over John Cena to the adulation of his hometown crowd. They have played up the fact this is Punk’s hometown on Raw, something they wouldn’t usually do as they try to keep Cena from taking a beating from the fans as much as possible. The Miz, accompanied by Vince, will come out and cash in the Money in the Bank contract and become a two time WWE champ.

  •          Let's go way outside the box (and get way too literal). Someone just mentioned the stipulation, "If Punk LEAVES CHICAGO with the title." Well, what if he wins the title and says "I'm staying in Chicago" so Cena doesn't get fired. WWE has live RAW events in Illinois on Saturday and Sunday July 30-31.

  •          CM Punk and Cena have at least 20 minutes in the ring. Cena kicks out of the GTS, Punk escapes from the STF and somehow reverses it into the Anaconda Vice. Cena is fading and can't continue, but referee Mike Chioda is afraid to end the match knowing Vince will fire both Cena and the ref if he makes such call. McMahon comes to ringside and hits the ref to make sure the match it's not over. Luke Gallows comes from the crowd and destroys Vince. The lights go off. The people hear the sound of the bell. The lights go back on as we see Punk and Gallows trying to escape the arena with the WWE title. The MITB winner Alberto Del Rio is at the parking lot alongside another referee waiting for Punk. Del Rio cheap-shots Punk, but Punk and Gallows take control. Out of nowhere come former members of the Nexus. They destroy Punk and Gallows. Alberto Del Rio easily pins Punk to win the title. Cena still has a job.

  •         The match between PUNK/CENA is coming to its end, with both competitors exhausted, beaten and weak. Possibly both of them on the mat at the same time or PUNK down with Cena standing above him. Then Mr. McMahon comes out, where everyone will assume to support/help John Cena and make sure Punk does not leave with the title. Where in fact he screws Cena over by hitting him with a chair/belt/lowblow or some sort, leading to Punk hitting the GTS for the one, two, three. PUNK becomes champion and the arena erupts! Mr. McMahon then grabs the microphone and fires Cena on the spot due to the stipulation he was in and McMahon and Punk leave the ring, leaving Cena in the ring screwed over. The next night on raw Punk can come out and explain why all this happened, and could tell the WWE universe that he signed a contract before MITB with a clause that McMahon helped him win, or that Cena had to be fired for Punk to sign.

  •          As Cena and Punk have entered the ring and match is just to start, HHH's music goes off again, HHH comes down to the ring in his wrestling gear and joins the commentary team. Announces that he is here to make sure Punk does not leave Chicago as champion, mentions the insults that Punk made about him and Stephanie, and says he has promised Vince that no way does Punk leave champion. Match ends with Punk delivering 3 GTSs to Super Cena and Punk getting the pin. Just as Punk is set to celebrate HHH enters the ring and jesters to the referee he is cashing in MITB, but instead of giving the referee he opens the briefcase and pulls out a contract, just then Vince's music plays and he comes down to the ring. Vince approaches HHH and takes the contract from him walks over to Punk and pulls a pen out of his top pocket, gives them to Punk, and Punks signs the contract in the middle of the ring. Vince calls for a mic, and announces that HHH has vacated his MITB contract and that Punk has just signed a new contract with the WWE. He then turns to a bemused Cena outside the ring and delivers the infamous line 'You’re Fired', PPV ends
.
  •          Punk beats Cena. Mysterio, who won MITB, cashes in and beats Punk, thus preventing him from taking the title elsewhere. Although Punk doesn't leave WWE with the title, Cena still is angry at himself for getting beat and "suspends himself" until later in the summer. Mysterio, the WWE Champion, faces Del Rio at Summerslam.

  •          Punk beats Cena. McMahon comes out and he's about to fire Cena, when Punk grabs a microphone. "Hang on a second, Vince." Punk has one of his Nexus cronies hand him an envelope...which contains the WWE's latest contract offer. He signs it on the belt (of course). Now Vince shouldn't fire Cena because the belt's safe. THEN the MITB winner cashes in on Punk. Punk just got screwed. I think THAT would be interesting.

  •          Punk beats Cena and becomes the new champion and the crowd go wild. While leaving, we have Vince order the MITB winner to come down and cash his MITB contract. Punk somehow manages to retain that as well. However just after the match is over, we have Vince hit Punk with a chair, and pin him -- 123. The crowd is booing Vince like crazy, and the PPV ends with Punk looking at Vince and abusing him.

  •          Cena goes for the signature 5KS all of that business but miraculously Punk gives him a GTS out of nowhere but Cena kicks out and after a 5 minute back and forth slugfest Cena gives Punk a F-U and wins and then at the end Punk puts out his hand for the handshake Cena goes to shake but gets picked up and eats a GTS and the MITB winner comes out and beats Cena and Punk sits on the ramp smirking.

  •          Punk wins the WWE Championship, announces that he's leaving, then Vince brings out Alberto Del Rio, announces that he's the #1 contender (without winning MITB, since ADR already has a claim to #1 contendership) and ADR defeats Punk to become the new WWE Champion, then it's ADR vs Cena at SummerSlam.

  •          It'd be funny if WWE tried so much to screw Punk.  Attempt #1: Match stipulation changes which somehow benefits Cena and not Punk. Attempt #2: Vince interferes during the match, but it fails and Punk wins. Attempt #3: Vince gets Cena to invoke his rematch clause right away, and Cena loses. Attempt #4: MITB winner comes in and cashes in on Punk and fails.

  •          Vince helps out Punk, but instead of resigning like Vince assumed he would do, Punk attacks Vince and leaves with the title so now he's lost both men.

  •          VINCE SCREWS CENA.  PUNK IS THE NEW CHAMPION, CELEBRATING WITH VINCE.  PUNK SCREWS VINCE.  NO NEW CONTRACT, LEAVES WWE WITH TITLE.

  •          I honestly think Vince will cost Cena the match, Punk will resign as all he really wanted more than all the lucrative perks in his contract was Cena gone, and he knew the only way to do that was to turn Vince against him. Vince will say he would rather Cena be fired than CM Punk walk away with the title. And perhaps Alberto will win the MITB and become Vince’s hired gun in getting back the WWE Title from Punk, who Vince now sees as having won the battle and wants revenge for Punks actions.

  •          I hope Punk wins at MITB and then the two MITB winners cash in their wins (consecutively or at the same time), almost at the request of Vince, in order to keep them in the WWE. Instead of losing the title to one of them, Punk beats them both.

  •          Chicago will be hot for Punk. McMahon comes out to help Cena so he doesn't let the belt leave with Punk. Crowd goes ballistic and this could lead to the long-awaited Cena Heel turn.

  •          I have this feeling CM Punk tore up the wrong contract after he flipped over the table and Vince has signed the contract that Punk already signed locking him to WWE after he wins the belt. CM Punk face turns and Cena possibly becomes Vince's corporate puppet and finally heel turns.

  •          Okay guys/gals.....check this out....did anyone noticed the small indication to how the story will end Sunday. Okay well they had this "Contract Negotiation" live on raw. Where both parties brought out their contracts to sign. Punk's contract had new stipulations and he had already signed... Vince didn't sign because Cena came out...Punk rips it up as raw gets off the air...So....CM Punk beats Cena and becomes WWE Champion. But McMahon comes out and tells punk that he tore up the wrong contract. Vince signs Punks new contract. And that means Punk isn't going anywhere. Cena isn't fired...that's the twist.

  •          Punk will win. Triple H comes out and overturns the decision....and Cena wins with the help of Vince and Trips to bring us the heel turn we have always wanted. Punk takes a month or two off and then does an Outsiders like return as a HUGE face to just cause havoc with the new alliance of Vince/Cena/HHH. This Cena heel turn will only last a little ways past Wrestlemania, but it is clear he's on the disliked side of this Rock/Cena feud.

  •          CM Punk wins with the help of Colt Cabana. I'm personally rooting for this one as it would capitalize on the exposure that the WWE has given Cabana over the last few weeks. Punk stays and reforms the "straight edge society" with Cabana and a returning Luke Gallows.

  •          My opinion is that Punk will somehow beat Cena (hey Colt Cabana how you doing?), McMahon will show up all angry about it, then Money in the Bank winner Alberto Del Rio will show up, attack Punk with the briefcase, get his title shot and leave Money in the Bank as the new WWE Champion. Cena doesn’t get fired because Punk leaves without holding the WWE Championship. Meanwhile, fans are in an uproar because Punk lost the title. McMahon can go on TV ripping on Punk for weeks until finally two or three months down the line (after he’s had a nice break) he returns as a triumphant babyface. That’s where I think this angle is going.

  •          I think it would be cool for Punk to win at MITB and then have both winners of the MITB matches cash in the same night only to lose to Punk. They could cash in consecutively or at the same time . . . doesn’t matter . . . I think it would be cool either way.
