On the day before 2013, I posted my 2013 WWE Predictions. The year is not over yet, but there are only four months left. This is a good time to see how I'm doing so far.
Here are my predictions and I crossed off the ones I was right about (or should I cross off the ones I got wrong? I don't know what's the best way to do this):
Five Things I Expect to Happen in 2013:
Daniel Bryan will become a two-time World Champion.
CM Punk vs. Undertaker will happen at WrestleMania.
- The Usos will win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Randy Orton will turn heel.
- Sheamus will be the longest reigning World Champion of 2013.
Five Things I Don't Expect to Happen in 2013:
Mick Foley will not wrestle in a WWE match.
CM Punk's current reign will not continue after WrestleMania.
The Rock will not win at WrestleMania (assuming he has a match).
- A WWE legend will not return to WWE (I mean big names and not minor names like John Morrison or MVP or Matt Hardy and this doesn't include guys who appeared in the last five years).
There will not be a first-time World Champion (that includes Ryback).
I got 7 out of 10 right so far. 2 of them could be wrong by the end of the year, but I don't think that will happen. I'm referring to Foley returning to a WWE ring and someone becoming a first-time World Champion. That leaves 3 unanswered things. 2 of them are wrong. Sheamus hasn't held a World Championship title for a single day in 2013 so he will not be the longest reigning World Champion of 2013. My guess is that guy will be John Cena. I was wrong about a WWE legend not returning. A guy that fits my description of a WWE legend is Rob Van Dam who returned at Money in the Bank. I did say someone gone for at least five years and I think RVD was in the 2009 Royal Rumble, but I'm making an exception. I did not expect Rob Van Dam to return to WWE and I will admit I was wrong about that. The Usos still have a chance to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. I don't think they will, but they are definitely one of the teams that have a good chance at taking the championship away from Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
I made predictions about WWE superstars in 2012. Enough time has passed that I want to revisit those predictions soon.
I can see the Usos winning before the year is over.
ReplyDeleteI would put them behind Mark Henry/Big Show and Primetime Players at this point.
DeleteHonestly, I could see any of the three.
